This is nuts

More drug war follies.  The police “smell meth chemicals” coming from the home, bust in in the middle of the night and kill an 80 year old resident.  And the bonus, no meth operation.  Story here.

Publishing a required foreclosure sale notice

May indeed constitute collection activity under the FDCPA.  An interesting case here.  Looks like the Defendant failed to address a Sixth Circuit case cited by the Plaintiff.  In the Sixth Circuit, foreclosure actions are subject to FDCPA claims.
