A recent Supreme Court case that is notable for two things. One, the make up of the justices in the majority and the minority in this 6-3 decision is unusual. It shows that the “ideological” lines of the court aren’t nearly what they are made out to be.
Additionally, I agree with Roberts’ dissent in this case. If the government is going to freeze your assets and impare your ability to hire your chosen attorney, you ought to at least have the right to challenge the probable cause finding in a hearing.
